
Three trustees have been elected for four-year terms to be the legislative
authority in the Township. Each brings unique interests to the office.
Chris Dole has been elected as the President for 2012. He is
currently serving in his second term, having been first elected in 2005.
Chris continues to communicate with residents with the hope of maintaining
our quality of life and promoting a sense of pride in our community. Chris
oversees the Zoning Department and the Community Coordinator.
Jim Niehaus is currently the Vice President. He has also served the
residents of Crosby Township since 2005. He has lived in the Township
for 40 years and takes pride in our beautiful community. Jim has oversight
of the Maintenance Department.
Warren E. Strunk is a long-time resident of the Township and a 20 year member of the Board. He
continues a Township legacy by serving as a Trustee, following his
father who served as a trustee for many years. Warren oversees the Fire
Department.

As of 2011, Crosby township's population was 2,616 people. Since 2000, it has had a population growth of -4.73 percent.
The median home cost in Crosby township is $154,600. Home appreciation the last year has been
-3.21 percent.
Compared to the rest of the country, Crosby Township's cost of living is 4.00%
lower than the U.S. average.

Southwest Local School District or various parochial schools in the area.
Crosby Elementary is located within the Township boundaries and has a
current enrollment of 350 students.
The Township is home to the Miami Whitewater Forest, one of many

05.06.12 Crosby Clean Up Days
8am - 4pm. Please help us keep our
Township beautiful by participating in Clean-up Days. There will be 10
dumpsters for trash, furniture, junk and 1 dumpster for tires. There is a
limit of 4 tires per household. The dumpsters will be located at the
New Haven Fire Station on Baughman Road.

Crosby Day at Strickers Grove
1pm - 8pm. Cost: $2 per person/ages 2 and under are free.
Join us for a fun day filled with rides, games, food, prizes and our annual
corn hole tournament.

97th Annual Memorial Day Parade
2:00pm. The parade will begin in the parking lot of the former
Methodist Church and go around the block to the New Haven Cemetery. A
service will follow.
